Condolence: Our deepest condolences to the Inglis family at this very sad time. Edith was one of the kindest, nicest ladies I knew. Edith was one of the dearest friends to my Mom & Dad (Ken & Agnes Butler) and along with Kay Dutch, the 3 women spent many happy mornings at one house or another on Phin Ave, having a good chat, a coffee & some laughs. Sadly we have lost them all. I have so many happy memories of those times. You will be missed.

Condolence: Mrs Inglis is one of the dearest, sweetest woman we have had the pleasure to know. She was like a second mother to my husband Jim Dutch and our daughter Hayley's honourary grandmother. It is a loss to all that know and love her. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are sure that Kay was waiting for you. Two dear friends, reunited again. Rest in Peace.

Condolence: Maureen, I am saddened to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady. I have a fond memory of your mom and Mrs. Dutch. I volunteered to drive them both to the mall one December so they could do some shopping and have some lunch. I picked them up as scheduled and thoroughly enjoyed the ride back to Phin Avenue with those two great friends giggling and carrying on in the back seat! I will leave you with this little poem which I believe captures your mother's recent journey: I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted the sails with a golden light and as it disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered "she's gone". But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore a little band of friends and family had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly, they caught sight of the tiny sail and at the very moment when my companion whispered, "she's gone", a joyous “Here she comes!” shouted up in celebration.

Condolence: My lovely Aunt Edith was a sweet, kind lady. Even up to her recent long illness, she had that amazing smile that would make you feel so special. Her laugh was contagious and her sense of humour unlimited. I have so many special memories visiting the house on Phin Avenue with her, Uncle Bob and my cousins..She made you feel so welcome, no matter what time you unexpectedly dropped in. I loved when she cut my hair, always having homemade cookies and a drink before I left. So many people will miss her.. No matter how old we get, it is still very hard to lose a parent who gave love to so many people, especially her own family. Her memory will stay in our hearts forever, and I will relive all those wonderful times spent with Aunt Edith... RIP dear Angel..
