Dog Walks
When Yak and Eleanor visited with us, she always enjoyed taking our dog Scraps (a European Golden Retriever) for walks. He'd get very excited when he saw her put her sneakers on and pick up his leash. Last month when they were visiting she was out walking him one day and about half way back, he suddently sat down and looked at her as if to say "I need a little break now". She stood there with him for about 5 minutes until it stood up and started walking again ready to get home and have his treat. Anther time she took him down by the boat launch and when he spied a duck, he was into the water in a flash! Imagaine Eleanor trying to hold back as 90 lb. dog, but she tried. She would take him for 2 or 3 walks a day and I know he'll miss that.
