Obituary for Lloyd George Fleischhauer

FLEISCHHAUER, Lloyd George
June 3, 1921 – November 3, 2016
It is with sadness that we deliver our dad, Lloyd into the hands of God. He will be remembered by his Children James (Catherine) Fleischhauer and Lynda (John) Tribe, his grandchildren Tracy (Stephen) Green, Christopher Carmichael and Amanda Fleischhauer. We will have funny stories to share with his great grandchildren Kyle and Emily Jamieson and Sydnee and Emerson Carmichael. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Anna in 2002 and his granddaughter Sherri in 2006 as well as his parents John and Elizabeth and his siblings Clatus, Carl and Harry Fleischhauer and his sister Gertrude Hawkins. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII, serving in the air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He was also a life time member of the Milverton Legion, a member of the Hespeler Public School Board and a long time member of St. James Lutheran Church where he served on the church council for many years.
Funeral Service will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd (Hespeler) Cambridge. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7th from 1 – 2 pm with service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Hespeler. Memorial donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Hespeler Branch #272 or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
